Dana Sellers is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Encore, A Quintiles Company, one of the fastest-growing consulting firms in the Healthcare IT industry and one of Modern Healthcare’s “Best Places to Work in Healthcare” for five years in a row. Dana has more than 25 years’ experience in healthcare, technology, and consulting, and held previous leadership positions with IBM, Healthlink, DuPont Healthcare and Trinity Computing Systems. She works with healthcare providers across the U.S., helping them bring about positive change through improved processes, enabling technology, and the insights that come from business intelligence and health analytics.
Dana has assisted both small and large provider organizations with strategic planning, has managed large clinical transformation projects, and has served as CIO for an academic teaching hospital and for a large integrated delivery network. In addition, Dana is involved in healthcare and healthcare technology at a national, state and local level. She served on the Board of the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME), the CHIME Foundation, and the CHIME Education Foundation, and is a past Chair of the Board of Healthcare for the Homeless in Houston, where she lives. Dana was recently named Entrepreneur of the Year in Healthcare for the Gulf Coast Region by Ernst and Young, and was honored as a Distinguished Alumnus of the University of Texas College of Engineering.
